The Kythira Studies Society announces its new publications

The Kythira Studies Society announces that four elegant books were published by the Company in 2020:

1. In the series, “Sources of Ecclesiastical History of Kythira”, directed by the Emeritus Professor of EKPA main George Leontsinis, two volumes were published: a) the book by Mrs. Eleni Charou entitled “Sacred Codex of the Most Reverend and Learned Lord Nikiforos Mormoris, Bishop of Kythira (1758-1770)”, bearing serial number 30 and b) the book of X. Bambouni, professor at the University of Athens, and St. Mouzaki, historical, entitled “Code of Archbishop Eugenios Macheriotis of Kythira (1857-1877)”, with serial number 31.
2. The English translation of Ms. Agriculture Katsouda, researcher at the Academy of Athens, entitled “The Dialect of Kythera”, with serial number 32.
3. The book by Professor Emeritus of Panteion University, Ms. Koulas Kasimati entitled “Kythirian personalities in the community centers of the Ottoman Empire (18^os-20th century)”, with serial number 33.

All books published by the Society of Kythirian Studies are available from the Society's offices in Athens (5 Themistokleous Street, Athens) and from bookshops in Kythira («Viviogatos,» Livadi, Kythira, and «Exantas,» Potamos, Kythira).
