On Monday at noon at the basketball court on the road between Potamos and Agia Pelagia, where the Kythira Naval Sports Club holds its practices, someone or some people used a grinder to cut through the support pipes and stole the court’s floodlights along with the solar panels.
The person or people who carried out this completely dishonest and illegal act managed to cause problems for the coach and, above all, for the children who attend practice. The benefit they think they’ve gained has some monetary value. The damage they’ve caused, however, is significant.
Anyone who may have any information regarding this incident is asked to contact the NAOK Board of Directors so that the perpetrators can be found and held accountable.
