Today, Friday 28 February 2025, two years after the tragic accident in Tempe, the Commission for the Domestic Property of Kythera and Antikythera, in cooperation with the Church Council of Myrtidiotissa and Agia Moni, made a symbolic gesture in memory of the victims.
Ο George Calligeros, a member of the Domestic Property Committee, sent a letter to the media stating:
«Today, 2 years after the tragic accident of Tempi, the Domestic Property Committee and the Church Council of Myrtidiotissa and Agia Moni, lit 57 candles at the Holy Pilgrimage of Panagia Myrtidiotissa of Kythera and rang the bells in memory of the innocent victims, waiting for justice to be done for the rest of their souls».
