The EHRC announced Monday afternoon that the new cases of coronavirus in the country totaled 1,834. In the last 24 hours, eight of our citizens have died. The number of people on life support is 123.
The National Public Health Organization (NPHO) announced on Monday afternoon (19/07) that the laboratory-confirmed new cases of coronavirus are 1,834, of which 14 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates.
The total number of cases is 459,146 (daily change +0.4%), of which 51.2% are males. Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 141 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 1,360 are associated with an already known case.

In Attica today, 19/07/2021, 720 new cases were detected according to the EODY.The distribution of cases in Attica today is as follows:

The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 123 (61.0% men). Their median age is 66 years. 89.4% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,760 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
New Covid-19 patient admissions to hospitals in the territory are 141 (daily change +6.82%). The seven-day average admission rate is 117 patients.
There are 8 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, with a total of 12,858 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.1% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.
Conducting tests
In the last 24 hours 5,840 molecular tests and 32,707 rapid tests were performed. In total 38,547 positivity is estimated at 4,76%.
