In the coming days, a delegation from Tifilleio Hospital is set to travel to the Antikythera, where it will proceed to vaccination of the island’s residents. Thus, the island will serve as the first «safety net» upon which our collective effort to return smoothly to normalcy will be based.
Let us recall here that, as was pointed out to us in the previous update, the goal is to have the entire population of Kythira.
As for the latest news regarding the health of the patient who had been transferred by air ambulance to Athens, on the night of Monday into Tuesday, March 9, the latest report indicates that the patient was extubated and discharged from the ICU, with his condition showing a marked improvement.
