In the Holy place of Kythera, where the Holy Pilgrimage of our patroness Panagia Myrtidiotissa is located, many people from every corner of Greece and not only gathered to pray to her divine grace.
In the afternoon of Sunday 14 August, the Great Pan-Holy Vespers was celebrated and on Monday morning 15 August, the Archdiocesan Divine Liturgy was presided by His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythera.
The Celebration Events were honored with the presence of the Civil and Military Authorities of the place as well as the MP of Piraeus and Islands Mrs. Noni Dounia who has been on our island for a few days.
Under the sounds of the Philharmonic of Potamos, the procession of the Holy Icon of Myrtidosis took place in the courtyard of the Holy Shrine, supported by the sailors of the Naval Observatory of Agia Elesa.
