What was the «cuckoo-brook» of the Tsirigiotis cobbler

From Eleni Charou's blog.

In my childhood, here in Kythera, kachabroko was the name of the tiny, lively, rambunctious child and generally the tiny man.

Ο cockroach was a tiny round wooden tool of the traditional Jaguar of the neighbourhood, which had an iron skewer, with which they drilled holes in the soles of handmade shoes, into which they stuck wooden nails. The cockroach would pierce the skin and they would plant not only the wooden spikes, but also the pre-cadura, the iron spikes with a large head, which they would nail to the soles and heels of the shoes to prevent them from wearing out.

The word κατσαμπρόκος is related to the Italian brocca = souvli. This is also the etymology of the word proca.
