One after another severe weather systems will affect our country in the coming days from the west, with the main characteristics being heavy rain and thunderstorms and them gusty winds.
According to a statement by the director of the National Meteorological Service, Theodoros Kolydas, an emergency weather advisory is expected to be issued shortly.

Weather: Rain and thunderstorms over the next three days
In the western, southern, and eastern Aegean, cloudy skies are expected on Friday, with rain and scattered thunderstorms that may be severe in some areas of the west. In the rest of the country, there will be light cloud cover that will gradually increase, bringing local showers and, starting in the afternoon, scattered thunderstorms in the north. Temporary snowfall is expected in the central and northern mountainous regions. Winds will blow from the south-southwest at 5 to 6 Beaufort, and at 7 Beaufort in the seas, with temporary local gusts reaching 8 Beaufort. Temperatures will rise slightly, reaching 17 degrees Celsius in the north, 18 to 20 degrees Celsius in the rest of the mainland, and 20 to 21 degrees Celsius in the southern Aegean.
