Weather – Kythira: Cloudy skies, north winds, and a drop in temperature on Saturday

Kythera will be dressed in a cloudy decor on Saturday, November 12. The winds will blow from northeastern directions, moderate, 5 Beaufort and the temperature will drop and will not exceed 17 degrees Celsius at its maximum value.

The weather throughout the country

Showers and local thunderstorms in the mainland, the North Aegean and the Ionian Sea. Clear weather with local clouds in the southern island parts. Temperatures will drop mainly in the continental parts. North winds in the sea up to 6-7 and locally up to 8 Beaufort.

More specifically, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, rain is expected in Thrace, Macedonia, Thessaly, the islands of the North Aegean, the Sporades, the northern parts of Eastern Central Greece, Evia, Western Central Greece, Peloponnese, Epirus and the Ionian Islands. Local thunderstorms are likely in the marine and coastal areas. The phenomena are expected to gradually weaken from the midday hours in Thrace, Eastern Macedonia and the islands of the Northeastern Aegean.

The temperature will range in Western Macedonia from 1 to 10-11 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Northern Greece from 1 to 15-16 degrees, in Epirus from 2 to 15-16 degrees, in Thessaly from 2 to 13-14 degrees, in the rest of the mainland from 4 to 15-17 degrees, in the Ionian islands from 11 to 17 degrees and in the Aegean islands and Crete from 9 to 20-21 degrees Celsius.

Winds will increase in the Aegean Sea to 5-6 Beaufort from northeastern general directions and in the Ionian Sea to 6-7 and locally in the Northern Ionian Sea up to 8 Beaufort from eastern/northeastern general directions.

In Attica we expect clouds with a chance of local rain in the north of the prefecture. Winds will blow north with intensities up to 3-4 Beaufort and in the east occasionally up to 5 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 14 to 16 degrees, but in the east and north the temperature will be 2-3 degrees lower.

In Thessaloniki we expect clouds with a chance of local rain. Winds will blow north-northeast with intensities up to 2-3 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 11 to 14 degrees.
