Heraklion: They did push-ups in the square to protest against the closure of gyms

In an original way, gym owners wanted to protest against the prolonged closure of their gyms.

An original protest took place on Tuesday, 20/04, at Eleftherias Square, in Heraklion. Owners of gyms filled the square with sports shoes and gymnastics accessories in front of the building of the Region of Crete, protesting the closure of their businesses for so long, but also for the «non-existent», as they said support measures from the state.

In fact, keeping their distance, they did a series of gymnastic exercises, while in statements they stressed that gyms are threatened with extinction and ask that they be opened immediately.
