The dismissal of the director of the press office of the Southwest, for «his slander» regarding the «rapist in Petralona», requests in a statement by the SYRIZA-PS.
Specifically in a statement the party spokesman said, Nassos Iliopoulos reports: «In order to manage the new fiasco of the National Police with the rapist in Petralona, who died at their hands, the Southwest was spreading that he had been released from prison with the Paraskevopoulos law. In the end, he was not released from prison under the Paraskevopoulos law, nor under the new Criminal Code, but under the more favourable provisions of the old Criminal Code for serving sentences and conditional release’.
Mr. Iliopoulos concludes by asking, «So the question is simple: Does Mr Mitsotakis adopt the slanders of the director of the Press Office of the Southwestern Democratic Party or will he dismiss him?».
