The Holy Metropolis of Kythira has issued an announcement regarding the collection of humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Read the announcement below:
In Kythira, on February 21, 2023
ANNOUNCEMENT
We would like to inform you that the collection of «humanitarian supplies» for our brothers and sisters affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria will be extended by Friday, February 24, 2023.
The items being collected are: new bedding (blankets, comforters), bottled water, long-life milk, pasta, rice, and legumes.
Anyone who wishes to donate any of the items specified by the Holy Synod may deliver their donations to:
(a) some the northern part of our island Structure Office of the Holy Church of Panagia Ilarioitissa in Potamos. Responsible: Fr. Petros Mariatos, Tel.: 6977595869.
