The 14-year-old student is being treated at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina. Last night, after a fight between minors in the city center, he was stabbed three times in the shoulder by a 16-year-old.
The perpetrator, who was immediately arrested by police officers at the scene of the clash, is being charged with grievous bodily harm and illegal possession of a weapon.
The police also arrested the 16-year-old's mother for neglecting her supervisory duties over a minor. However, until the case file was sent to the prosecutor on his verbal orders, both mother and son were released.
A 19-year-old who was with the group of minors was also arrested and found in possession of a knife. The young man is currently being taken to the prosecutor on charges of illegal possession of a weapon.
