The 27-year-old son of a wealthy family, the prosecutor proposed the acquittal of the 27-year-old son of a wealthy family to the Thessaloniki Plenary Council for the rape case of 24-year-old Georgia in a luxury hotel suite on New Year's Day in Thessaloniki.
The 27-year-old had been prosecuted for “sexual acts without the consent of the victim“.
From the main interrogation, which was completed about two months ago, no other defendant has been charged other than the 27-year-old as the initial complaint of the victim of gang rape was not substantiated. Witnesses testified that they saw the girl return to the party after first leaving the hotel and then follow the accused voluntarily.
The same, according to the grtimes.gr, testified that she returned to the hotel because she felt dizzy and could not find her car. She paid for a room to stay overnight there but when she came out of the lift she was met by three men who were attending the New Year's Eve party and led her to another room where she was raped.
According to the results of the toxicological tests, no drugs were found to have affected the 24-year-old's nervous system, bending her resistance, while her alcohol consumption was at low levels.
According to the 60-page prosecution proposal, the complainant's allegations were false.
