A fire broke out at the refugee camp in Samos, early Monday morning.
Although the fire did not cause any damage to the official reception center, the flames destroyed scenes and put at risk human lives.
The fire spread quickly and there were many explosions, however, the police and the fire department evacuated right at that spot.
According to initial reports, about 15 tents were burned.
Secretary-General Manos Logothetis is traveling to the island later today.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
