ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND ELECTIONS

Dear members of our Association, we hope you are all well.

After two years of COVID-19 restrictions that we all experienced—and which deprived us of the ability to communicate as we would have liked— we are returning to normalcy and will be able to hold our Association’s elections within the scheduled timeframe.

We invite the members of our Association to the Annual General Meeting, which this year will also include elections to select a new Board of Directors, on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Potamos Cultural Center , to discuss and make decisions on the following matters:

1. Administrative Report of the Outgoing Board of Directors.
2. Financial Report for the 2020–2022 Two-Year Period
3. Audit Committee Report.
4. Discussion of the activities and the financial report.
5. Vote on the approval of the Administrative and Financial Report and on whether or not to grant the Board of Directors a discharge from all administrative and managerial liability.
6. Election of a three-member Election Committee to conduct the elections.
7. Holding elections to select a new board of directors.

We all have a responsibility to support the Association. Through each of our small contributions, let’s take it to the next level, as the Potamos Cultural Association is an organization with 20 years of vibrant and active presence in our community.

We hope that as many of you as possible will submit your candidacies for the Association’s governing bodies. Candidacy submissions will be accepted through Friday, August 28, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. Nominations may be submitted by phone to the General Secretary, Ms. Vasiliki Fardouli (6973609407), or to the President, Ms. Eleni Souri  (6974383215).

Next, they should send an application to the association's email address, politistikospotamou@gmail.com, or submit it in writing to Ms. Souri's office from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily.

In accordance with the Bylaws, members of the Association may authorize a current member to act on their behalf.

A prerequisite for members’ attendance at the General Assembly is that they have paid their dues, which amount to only 10 €.

We hope all our members will attend. We look forward to hearing your views and suggestions, both regarding our past activities and our future plans.
