With all necessary COVID-19 safety measures in place, an event was held at the Kythira Municipal Library to present Koula Kasimati’s new book. The event was a success, according to a press release from the Municipal Library.

«The presentation of the new book by Professor Emerita Ms. Koulas Kasimati, *Kythirian Figures in the Community Centers of the Ottoman Empire, 18th–20th Centuries*, was successfully held in the courtyard of the Kythira Municipal Library. The presentation was organized by the Society for Kythirian Studies and KIPA, under the auspices of the Municipality of Kythira and with the support of the «BIBLIOGATOS» bookstore.
This coming Friday, July 30, at 8:00 p.m., at the same venue, there will be a book presentation of Stavroula Fatsa’s *Orchids of Kythira*. The event is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Kythira and with the support of the «BIBLIOGATOS» bookstore. Due to pandemic restrictions, only 70 seated guests will be able to attend the event.«.
