The Kythira Foundation for Culture and Development organizes an information day for the European Programme FUTURAL, which is being implemented in Kythera and is already in its second year of implementation. The event will take place on Thursday 20 February 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at the Kythiraikos Association in Chora.
The programme FUTURAL aims to promote and preserve the traditional activities of Kythera through two digital platforms:
•An educational platform, which focuses on characteristic activities of the island, such as beekeeping, promoting knowledge and education about local production.
•A platform for trail maintenance of the island, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the traditional hiking routes, which are an important element of the natural and cultural wealth of Kythera.
This is the second workshop organised under the programme, following the first one held in October 2024. During the event, the results so far will be presented in detail, and the potential of the platforms to be used by local stakeholders and residents will be explored in detail.
