By decision of the Mayor of Kythera, Efstratios Harhalakis, the direct award of the supply of essentials for the accommodation and short stay of migrants on the island was approved. The award amounts to 37,110 euros (including VAT).
According to the document posted on Transparency (IDA: PBMPOLΨ-PYI), the decision was taken in the context of the need to meet emergency needs arising from increased migratory flows. The procedure was carried out in accordance with the applicable public procurement provisions and included the necessary study, invitation to tender and acceptance of the supplier's offer.
The duration of the supply is set at one month from the signing of the contract, while the receipt of the items will be made by the designated acceptance committee of the Municipality of Kythera.
Payment will be made by issuing a warrant, upon submission of an electronic invoice with the necessary information, as provided by the relevant legislation.
The decision was published in the Central Electronic Register of Public Procurement and notified to the contractor and the Acceptance Committee.
