Protesting the sickness certificates at the Kythera Hospital

The issue that has arisen with the issue of a certificate of sickness from the Kythera Hospital, for our fellow citizens in Kythera. Recently, Kythera.News has been informed of incidents with sick people who, although they are are diagnosed as coronavirus positive, the PCR test to which they are subjected in the hospital gives a negative result, preceded by positive self test and rapid test. As a result, they cannot issue a certificate of disease.

Today another incident of a fellow citizen was reported through social networks. Mrs. Ria Kominou publicly complains not only about the inconvenience suffered by her and her family, but also for the unacceptable treatment by the Hospital. Also as the surprised Mrs. Kominou says, the family became ill, the husband and the child were issued a certificate for the husband and the child as normal (after a positive PCR), but not for her (with a negative PCR) and while he was diagnosed positive to rapid test. And she wonders how it is possible that she has taken sick leave and cannot certify her illness!

Leverage for mass vaccination policy of the Ministry of Health

It should be noted here that according to the Government Decree of 4 January 2022 vaccinated persons only need to have a positive rapid test for the issuance of the certificate of infection and unvaccinated persons must confirm positivity by PCR. In order to take sick leave from work, a positive rapid test for all workers is sufficient and is accepted by all employers.

In conclusion, if a PCR molecular testing machine gives a negative result, the patient cannot be granted a certificate of disease. And that is where several questions arise. Detect all mutations in the hospital machine or some of them; How is it possible for a citizen to test positive and another member of his family, who became ill at the same time, to test negative?; Is there adequate and safe operation in our hospitals, hence proper diagnosis - care, after the removal of unvaccinated health workers by the government?;

The questions primarily concern the Government

Citizens believe in many cases that the problems with certificates and the general treatment of coronavirus are due to the hospital administration. But the decisions that apply to health institutions are issued centrally, by the minister himself. Consequently a minister and a government that have stated many times that they will try in every way possible to force the unvaccinated to get vaccinated also bears the main responsibility. Beyond that, from below, the administrations are obliged to implement the ministry's policy. Of course the behavioural issues mentioned must be addressed by the administration and appropriate responses must be given.

Plevris: Aim to have masks and certificates abolished by summer

According to what Health Minister Thanos Pleyris said yesterday on ERT, the mask and certificates are planned to be removed from the measures by the beginning of summer. So an end to the government's absurdity of using the restrictions as leverage for mass vaccination is expected.

Complaint to Kythera Hospital

First of all, because I am not the only person in the hospital where this incident is happening, I would like to ask the rest of you to contact me so that we can make a mass complaint.

While he has been sick, my child since 6/3, me 9/3 and my husband since 10/3, with rapid positives all from the pharmacy + our self test we were positive for 8 days, the day before yesterday while I was trying to download a certificate of sickness it was not downloading!!!! The husband and child's certificate came out normally.

I called the hospital because I trusted them that the certificate would be delivered in 14 days and they told me that my pcr was negative!!!! After 14 days!!!! No one notified me immediately so I could get a second one and on top of that they wrote me a leave of absence for my job with covid 19 confirmed disease!!!!! But now all of a sudden my test is negative and I can't download my certificate of infection.

The administration's excuse for not ”accepting” me was that the rapid of the pharmacy and the self came out positive because I had GERD!!!!

The child and husband coronavirus and I flu!!!!

Because someone or some people are playing with words and at the same time with our lives and our peace of mind, I would like to ask those who have had similar unacceptable treatment from the Kythera hospital to send me via inbox their details so that we can take the necessary action.

We are already 3 people, but the issue must be solved immediately and we want all these incidents and the issue to reach the relevant ministry!

So much for the mockery.

If some people don't want to work properly they should go home without us paying them handsomely out of our pockets. That's a MIRACLE.

I have all the above information in my possession, as well as the license for covid disease which is however useless as far as the certificate is concerned. The issue is not only financial but also moral and should be resolved.
