Unfortunately, this place has no salvation. Neither from enemies nor from «our own». The vile bilingualism continues without shame. Everywhere! «They don't want two states, but two states are okay» (Aristos Michaelides 1.5.2021 «F»). They don't want them but they «worship» British Security Council resolutions 649/90 and worse 750/92 (and all that followed) referring to the Report of the then UN Secretary General former Nazi Kurt Waldheim, in which the only and correct real interpretation of the British-Turkish apartheid bi-communal, bi-zonal federation is briefly explained. Unfortunately, even academics fall into the trap of not interpreting it correctly.

Yes, this is what the British and the genocidal Turks were promoting and they achieved it from Makarios to Anastasiades (with the slight exception of Spyros Kyprianou who did not accept the IOA - until the British found the C. Vassiliou through AKEL, hence his characterization as a «precious asset» for them and their interests.) Apparently until today...

They came and went from the new Geneva organized by the British and what was supposed to be «informal» became a «document»!! The Turks filed a (expected) two-state issue. And Nicos Anastasiades ... came back thanking Secretary General Antonio Guterres and British Foreign Minister Dominic Rapp for their attitude! And why, what did we gain by thanking them? Let's see what happened in Geneva 2021.

The Turks have asked Guterres to annul SA resolutions (meaning 186/64 and any others they don't like) and to come up with new ones that recognize the pseudo-state! And Antonio Guterres, instead of defending the UN Charter that he supposedly serves, told them to... address themselves to the British who write them and especially to Dominic Raap, the organizer of the «five-party»!!!

The «Lobby for Cyprus» squared the facts in its statement, entitled «Premeditated failure...»

By adopting the odd 5 plus 1 membership, the UN made sure that the Republic of Cyprus, a full member of the UN, was not officially represented as an internationally recognised independent sovereign country, not respecting Article 2.1 of the Charter of... And by involving Turkey as a «guarantor power» rather than an occupying power, the UN disregarded the 1949 Geneva Conventions, the statement said, «In avoiding criticizing Turkey, the UN Secretary General failed to expose the Turkish agenda for what it really is: A crude recipe for neo-colonial legitimization of illegalities through a reinforced form of apartheid, segregation, discrimination, inequality and the like in stark contrast to the post-1945 legal order,» it stresses.

The moral bankruptcy of the UN by Guterres

«By failing to refer to the rule of law, human rights, justice, freedom, democracy and the UN Charter he is supposed to serve, the Secretary-General betrayed international law, and further supported the crime of apartheid, occupation and the criminal effects of ethnic cleansing... He has further damaged the post-1945 legal order and the European model of liberal democracy based on the rule of law and perpetuated the culture of appeasement that has served Turkey at the expense of the victims...» the statement added. The Lobby reiterates its commitment to a settlement based on the principles of democracy, justice, the rule of law and the 3Rs: withdrawal of all Turkish troops, repatriation of all settlers transferred from Turkey in violation of Articles 49.6 and 147 of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 and Article 8.2 (b) (viii) of the Rome Statute to the International Criminal Court of 1998. And the inalienable legal right of all refugees and displaced persons to return to their homes and properties without restrictions and conditions...

Places Forayne Offices - St. Neophyte's Monument

Responding to a question from the Cypriot news agency, Forayne Office rejected on the merits the claim that British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raap tabled a proposal during the informal five-party meeting in Geneva that deviated from the UN parameters and the accepted framework of a bizonal, bicommunal federation. And what he said: «the UK believes that the IHL is a broad enough framework for both sides to fulfil their respective aspirations.» (Sigmalive 1.5.2021).

The IOI has now been turned by its initiators into a ...Memorial of Saint Neophytos (!) to accommodate the «two states» demanded by Turkey! Yet another ... excuse for those of our people who sinfully and knowingly mislead with a thousand and two alleged interpretations of the correct interpretation of the IHL, to save their own servile concessions over the years.

And the President of the RoC, (the muhtair of the Y/C in Geneva) is running to thank Guterres and Raap until the next «five-party» trap. While on the one hand Ertogan and his outlaw in the occupied territories are trampling on us as liars who are deceiving us and do not trust us and on the other hand DISY and AKEL are pushing for more concessions. Averof Neophytou presses the President to accept political equality as demanded by the Turks and Andros Kyprianou to accept co-management of gas and a pipeline through Turkey. To ... break the deadlock! («Eleftheria» London 29.4.2021). And others led by the British High Commission...

No one is talking about UNLABELLING. Let them not propose criminalizing the word on the basis of the infamous «glossary», to erase Turkish crimes and the ongoing Turkish occupation. How much justice was done to M. Neocles Sarris...
