In view of the latest cross-check that will take place in December 2021 for the granting of basic aid for the 2021 application year, geospatial cross-checks will be carried out based on the Land Registry posting (November 2021) and the operating Land Registry (October 2021), in which various Greek public bodies are registered as owners. Agricultural plots that fall within areas covered by the Land Registry or the operational Cadastre, where the registrations show as the main owner the Greek State and within which there are EAE agricultural plots that have been declared as privately owned/leased by natural persons, will be zeroed and the prescribed reductions/penalties will be imposed.

«For the purpose of confirming or refuting the information declared by farmers in the 2021 EAE, OPEKEPE, within the framework of its existing cooperation and interaction with other public administration bodies, has obtained the most recent data from the “HELLENIC LAND REGISTRY NPDD” body. The provision of this data enables OPEKEPE to expand its checks and, for the first time, to cross-check the areas declared in the EAA with the areas actually owned.
