Work on the second phase of the undergrounding of the overhead power distribution network in the settlement of Avlemonas, by crews of DEDDIE, started again today.
This project is an organic part of the large overall redevelopment that is taking place in Avlemonas. According to an update from the Mayor of Kythera, Efstratios Harhalakis, the undergrounding has been autonomously integrated by DEDDIE into the Recovery Fund.
The restart of the work was made possible, according to Mr.Harchalakis, after continuous pressure (“harassment”) of the Municipal Authority to the DEDDIE, and after the intervention of the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Kostas Katsafados.
