Charalakis to Amura on forest maps: «Our patience has run out!»

In a telephone conversation with the Deputy Minister of the Environment, George Amiras, the Mayor of Kythira, Efstratios Charhalakis, raised the issue of the recently posted forest maps, and sent a letter to that effect.

In it, he lashes out against her. Piraeus Forestry Directorate, charging it with applying, as it sees fit, the technical specifications for the preparation of forest maps from the previous decade. It even calls for the correction of all errors contained therein, «before the affected citizens and entities exhaust all legal remedies in the Greek and European courts.».
