The Kythira Brotherhood of Piraeus and Athens is preparing to welcome the New Year with its traditional New Year’s pie-cutting ceremony, combining it with a special tribute event for the new students of the Kythirian community.
The event will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., at the Brotherhood’s premises, located at 7 Navarinou Street in Piraeus, easily accessible via Metro lines 1 and 3.
During the event, the new students who succeeded in the recent national exams will be honored, continuing the Kythira Brotherhood’s tradition of supporting and celebrating the younger generation. At the same time, the cutting of the New Year’s cake will mark the beginning of the new year, with wishes for health, progress, and unity among the members of the community.
The event serves as an opportunity for Kythirians and friends of the Brotherhood to gather, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere to kick off 2025. With its rich history and active programs, the Kythira Brotherhood continues to be an important pillar of the cultural life of Kythirians in Athens and Piraeus.
