Since tickets for the first five performances have sold out, the Greek National Opera announces an additional performance of «Don Giovanni,» on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. Mozart’s masterpiece, conducted by Ondrej Olos and directed by John Fuljames, premieres tomorrow, Friday, October 21, and the final performance schedule is as follows: October 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 30, 2022.
Advance ticket sales for the additional performance will begin tomorrow, Friday, October 21, at 9:00 a.m., on ticketservices.gr and at the GNO box offices at the SNFCC (2130885700, daily 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.).
«Don Giovanni» is a major international co-production of the Greek National Opera, the Gothenburg Opera, and the Royal Danish Opera, and is made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) to support the Greek National Opera’s artistic outreach.
In the title role is baritone Dionysis Sourbis, joined by sopranos Celia Costea (Donna Elvira), Myrsini Margariti (Donna Anna), Miranda Makrynioti (Cherlina), tenor Vasilis Kavayas (Don Ottavio), bass Petros Magoulas (Commander), bass-baritone Yannis Giannisis (Leporello), and baritone Nikos Kotenidis (Masetto).
