A Daily Mail article refers to the Dr. Andrew Haf, former vice president onthe NGO EcoHealth Alliance on USA and specifically regarding his claims that the coronavirus it is one genetically modified disease which was manufactured and leaked from the laboratory facilities in Wuhan, China.
Haf, who has worked closely with this particular laboratory, calls the virus the «the biggest failure of the U.S. intelligence agencies since September 11».
The scientist referred to the pandemic, describing it as «one of the greatest cover-ups in history» and is also a staunch supporter of one of the most widespread conspiracy theories—namely, that the coronavirus was manufactured and leaked from a laboratory. He claims in his book, «The Truth About Wuhan», that the coronavirus pandemic is nothing more than the result of funding directed toward the dangerous mechanics of coronaviruses in China and the U.S..
Haf spoke to *The Sun*, emphasizing that «the U.S. government is responsible for transferring this dangerous biotechnology to the Chinese.» As he pointed out, the Chinese experiments were conducted in environments with quite inadequate and lax biosafety measures. The virus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is, in fact, funded by the U.S.

«The EcoHealth Alliance and the foreign laboratories did not have the appropriate control measures in place to ensure proper biosafety, bioprotection, and risk management, resulting in the virus leaking from the Wuhan Institute of Virology,» Haf claimed.
The EcoHealth Alliance, of which he served as vice president, is an a U.S.-based nongovernmental organization, whose mission is to protect people, animals, and the environment from emerging infectious diseases. Haf accuses the NGO of «handing over biological weapons technology» to China. «China knew the risks, but what’s most shocking is that the U.S. covered it all up,» he said, among other things.
