– Were additional bins and containers procured and placed in settlements to accommodate the increased volumes during the summer?; 
– Has the municipality made arrangements with an external contractor to collect bulky waste on a more regular basis during the summer months?;
– What about fines? Will they be imposed on offenders, and if so, how will violations be defined and punished? Or was the committee set up solely for show and intimidation?; 

Finally, we are struck by the fact that the only solution being promoted is to punish citizens, without the authorities acknowledging their own responsibilities. It is sad. Are ordinary Tsirigotes citizens solely to blame? Perhaps the ideal solution for the municipal authorities is to reduce the island's population to zero, so that there is no rubbish. Maybe that would be «some» kind of solution...
