They have gone so far (far) to the right that they present Sanchez as a new Lenin.
A moderate social democrat comes to show us the precipice that opens up before us and the parrots of trampism come out to dirty it. They vomit bile and mud.
What does Sanchez say? The obvious, repeating our post-war contract. He speaks like the UN Secretary General: «We cannot respond to one illegality with another, because that is how the great disasters of humanity begin». He is portrayed as urging a global revolution.
Has Sanchez become an extreme radical? Has the peace speech become a revolutionary speech? Did «No a la Guerra» become the slogan for the occupation of the summer palace? Let's not get crazy.
The others went to the edge, to the edge of war and destruction. See them clearly:
- some trampy war mongers,
- some orignal anarcho-capitalists who will sell their mother (after dropping bombs on her) to get rich,
-some common criminal types who, if the war ends, will be on trial for years, one for being the cover and poster boy for Epstein's pedophile archives and the other for being hunted for hundreds of crimes in Israel and internationally.
They tell us to go with them. Who says? Some misfits, some complementary useful idiots, some comical built-in parrots like ours.
It is the latter who tell the biggest lies. They say that they are supposedly defending the unified doctrine of Greece and Cyprus and not the bases from which they are striking Iran. They say that it is a defence of our national security to have half the Middle East hating us. They also put in some gravy, some ancient grandiose grandstanding about Cimon and the Persians in Cyprus, some drivel worthy of «Greek Adonis education».
Note to avoid confusion: they are about the same people who say that the interceptions were done by private individuals.
Anyone who questions this self-destructive course is attacked from the right, the far right and the centre-right. Anyone who speaks of peace is called a friend of the mullahs and Khamenei and a courtier of tyrants.
Let's not get crazy. They drag us into the minefield and say that this serves our national interests. We talk about peace and let them call us traitors.
Let's not go crazy. Talking about peace today is the most patriotic thing of all. Let us remember that. That's what we should say.
