The 5-day environmental educational excursion of the 3rd grade high school of Kythera in Crete, on the topic of the circular economy and its connection with the practices of the traditional Kythera community, was successfully completed. The programme, which was implemented between 6-10 May 2025, became a reality thanks to the practical support of local institutions, associations and the school community.
The Parents and Guardians Association of the Kythera High School and the students of the third grade publicly express their thanks to all those who contributed financially or organizationally, as well as to those who supported the lottery that supported the student fund.

LETTER OF THANKS
With the completion of the 5-day Environmental Educational Excursion of the 8th Grade with the theme «CIRCULAR ECONOMY: PRACTICES OF THE TRADITIONAL CYPRIOT COMMUNITY AND MODERN PRINCIPLES», which took place in Crete on 06/05 -10/05/2025, the students of the 3rd grade and the Parents' Association of Kythera High School, would like to publicly thank all local organizations and associations who, with their kind offer and their significant financial support, contributed decisively to the realization of this event and the participation of the majority of the students.
During the project, the students studied modern sustainable development practices that could be applied on our island, enhancing the management of our natural and economic resources and comparing them with the practices of previous generations.

We would like to thank all those who supported the Parents’ Association's Raffle, which was undertaken by the students of the third grade themselves, as well as the Treasurer of the Association, Mrs Syrigo Kyparissia, who dedicated her time and effort to the collection of gifts and the development of the whole process. The draw for the gifts took place on 28/04/2025 at Kythera High School and the list of gifts has been posted and made public. Finally, we would like to thank the Director of the Kythera High School Mrs. Fatsea Stavroula and the accompanying teachers Mrs. Maria Miligaki and Mrs. Daphne Patsiarika for the excellent preparation and completion of this remarkable Educational Tour and we wish the next classes to have similar experiences!
