The opening of the exhibition of contemporary art took place with great success “The Sea that Unites Us” in Chania, Crete. The exhibition is hosted at the Agios Rokkos, 48 Daskalogianni Street and 1821 Square, in the Old Town of Chania, and presents the works of artists from Kythera and Crete, underlining the common bond that unites these two places: the sea.
The opening of the exhibition took place in a climate of joy and enthusiasm, with the participation of many art lovers. Special thanks were given to the participating artists, both from Kythera and Crete.
The curators of the exhibition, Georgia Tseri and Ioannis N. Archontakis, received warm thanks for the presentation at this unique event, while Angelos Antonopoulos offered his valuable assistance in the organization.
The report “The Sea that Unites Us” will remain open daily from 20:00 to 23:00 until August 30, 2024, with free admission for the public. Visitors have the opportunity to browse a diverse collection of artworks inspired by the maritime element that unites these two distinct geographical and cultural areas.
