Good weather is expected across the country this coming Sunday, election day, according to the latest forecast data from the National Observatory of Athens/meteo.gr.
More specifically, over the three-day period starting tomorrow, Saturday, October 7, through Monday, October 9, cloudy skies are expected, with locally thicker clouds at times, while scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms are expected tomorrow in Central and Eastern Macedonia,, Eastern Thessaly, Euboea, the Peloponnese, and the mountainous areas of Crete; on Sunday in the southern Peloponnese and the mountainous areas of Crete; and on Monday in Euboea and the mountainous areas of Crete.
Tomorrow, northern winds of up to 6 Beaufort will prevail in the Aegean Sea. On Sunday, they will weaken and, starting at noon, shift to westerly winds of up to 5 Beaufort. On Monday, they will shift back to northerly winds of up to 7 Beaufort.
Northwesterly winds of up to 5 Beaufort will prevail in the Ionian Sea, and only from early Monday morning through noon will they temporarily shift to easterly winds of up to 4 Beaufort.
Temperatures will remain high, with highs reaching 28–30 °C in some areas through Sunday. On Monday, temperatures will drop.
