The construction industry demands the establishment of a Water Management System in Kythera (video)

Amid an atmosphere of deep concern but also a spirit of consensus, the Open General Assembly of the island’s construction sector was held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Fratsia Conference Center in Kythira. The assembly discussed the serious problem that has arisen due to the suspension of support for Kythira by the Piraeus Urban Planning Authority (YDOM), resulting in the inability to issue building permits. Administrative support for municipalities without an urban planning office expired on March 31, 2023; inter-municipal cooperation has not been established, nor have the Urban Planning Offices been staffed in accordance with the recent law, and once again, the processing of urban planning matters, building permits, and investments is up in the air.
