In his latest project with the Catsndogs Band ο Mentzelos decided to set to music Nikos Kavvadias’s poem, “Marabou,” from the great poet’s collection of the same name—a poem that neither Thanos Mikroutsikos nor the Xemparkoi had set to music, whose musical adaptations of Kavvadias’s work remain a benchmark.
Set to rock music by CatsnDogs and Mentzelos’s distinctive rap, “Marabou” finds its way to our speakers in an extremely interesting version.
