The pharmacies in Potamos and Livadi, where these tests are carried out, are taking a position on the rumor about errors in recording positive results in molecular tests (rapid test) for the detection of covid-19 infection of the new coronavirus.
The statement reads:
«We inform you that the extension of the terms of use of rapid molecular tests and the obligation of electronic registration in the National Patient Register COVID-19 until 30 June 2022 has been passed for pharmacies.
Greek pharmacists, with consistency and reliability, contribute to the reduction of the pandemic and immediately inform the national case registration system. .
Rapid tests in the presence of a positive sample are reliable at 99.5 % according to the international literature, therefore rumours of errors in recording positive results are of no concern to us.
We remain at the service of public health.
