The position that projects are not accomplished with a magic wand or wishful thinking, nor with letters that, beyond criticism and accusations, are devoid of proposals, is expressed by Municipal Authority, responding to from 22-03-22 letter – I accuse addressed by «Potamos Kythira Beautification and Cultural Association».
In her response, signed by the mayor, Eustratios Charhalakis, the Municipal Authority lists all the major projects that have been implemented, are in the pipeline or are at the study and development stage in Kythera from 2014 onwards, while addressing all the issues raised by the Association in its letter, in which it calls on the current municipal authorities for neglecting the Potamos area and, by extension, the entire northern part of the island, and personally calls on the mayor for his indifference to many of these issues.
