Payments from e-EFKA, OAED, OPEKA and υπ. Labour until 4/02

Payment of the regular allowances of the Organisation for Provident Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for January, today Monday, January 31, is included, among other things, in the scheduling of payments by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the supervised agencies for the week of January 31-February 4.

In total, it is estimated that around €260.1 million will be paid to 836.45 beneficiaries.

More specifically, according to a statement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs:

1. From e-EFKA the following payments will be made as part of the institution's regular payments:

  • €26.3 million will be paid to 900 beneficiaries following the adoption of one-off decisions.

  • 450.00 euros will be paid to 550 beneficiaries for benefits under the former TAYTEKO.

2. From the OAED the following payments will be made:

  • €20 million to 54,000 beneficiaries for unemployment and other benefits.

  • €19 million will be paid to 6,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.

  • €700,000 will be paid to 1,000 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.

3. From the OPEKA today, Monday 31 January, the following payments will be made:

  • €72 million will be paid to 175 247 beneficiaries for disability allowances (disability and maintenance).

  • €52.3 million will be paid to 238,48 beneficiaries of the Minimum Guaranteed Income.

  • €32.9 million will be paid to 272,386 beneficiaries for housing benefit.

  • €13.2 million will be paid to 13,143 beneficiaries for a birth grant.

  • €11.7 million will be paid to 35,006 beneficiaries for benefits for uninsured elderly people.

  • €8.9 million will be paid to 14,020 beneficiaries for family allowances.

  • EUR 1.7 million will be paid to 15,892 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans under the «GEFYRA» programme (due to COVID-19).

  • €42,900 will be paid to 87 beneficiaries for a mountain allowance.

  • €193,248 will be paid to 389 beneficiaries for fostering allowance.

  • €223,788 will be paid to 818 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.

  • 220,678 euros will be paid to 6,259 beneficiaries for the expatriate-refugee allowance.

  • €101,679 will be paid to 128 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of uninsured people.

  • 139,822 euros will be paid to 2,071 beneficiaries as a contribution by the State to loans (protection of the main house).

  1. Finally, from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs the Christmas Bonus ratio for employees who were included in the «SYN-TRUST» mechanism will be paid on Friday 4 February 2022, as well as the remaining payments for the months of September 2021-November 2021, with the corresponding Christmas Bonus ratio. The number of beneficiaries and the amounts will be announced in a later announcement.
