Accident with a fighter aircraft F-16 of Air Force occurred at the air base of Andravida, shortly after 15:00 on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred inside the Air Force airfield during a training flight, with the pilot making a successful ejection of the fighter.
According to reports, the plane landed, but the pilot could not hold it together and it went off the runway.
The pilot was taken to 251 Air Force Hospital for precautionary reasons.
Initial information was that the aircraft had crashed, but this was not subsequently confirmed.
Group of Air Force is investigating the causes of the accident, as well as the damage the fighter aircraft may have suffered.
The fighter belongs to the 117th Fighter Wing.
