Terra Kytheria: 3rd Online Workshop for olive growers

Invitation to an online workshop on the «intelligent farming» tools developed by the University of the Aegean, addresses to the olive growers of Kythira, the programme for the support of olive growers and the promotion of Kythera olive oil, Terra Kytheria - Sustainable Agriculture in Kythera.

We read in the relevant Press Release that was released:

«It is with great pleasure that we invite the olive growers of Kythera to the Monday 15 November 6.30pm-8.00pm, the third in a series of web workshops on the ’Intelligent Agriculture’ tools of the programme Terra Kytheria.

During the seminar, the use of these tools will be explained: the web mapping application and the Android mobile application. The web-based application, the web-based mapping application, the mapping application and the mobile app for mobile phones. FarmGeoBalance Kithira has already been made available at no cost to all producers concerned.

The primary purpose of the Terra Kytheria project is the multifaceted empowerment of Kythera's olive growers.. In this context, the University of the Aegean, developed these tools, which are important for two reasons:

(a) directly assist producers to control, adapt and manage their crops easily and quickly.

(b) will greatly facilitate and simplify the certification process, which will take place in the coming months.

The presence of the programme's partner producers is very important.
