«It seemed that the chemotherapies were working, but a later MRI scan revealed another tumour, either at the base of my spine or in my brain.» Harting seemed to have come to terms with the idea, as shown in her words below.
«I don't want an accurate prognosis. I don't know how many months I have left. I don't know why anyone would want that. Comfort and living with as little pain as possible is the most important thing to me right now. Who knows? I might surprise you, but that's the way things are now,» she had said.
«I want to show people the real me. Because, somewhere - between the nightclubs, the dresses and hairstyles, the big chart hits and the glamour of being a pop star - the other Sarah Harding got completely lost. It is the one that has been forgotten. And all I want you to do is listen to it», she said of the reason she wrote her book.
In October 2011, long before her diagnosis, Harding had been in rehab in South Africa for issues with alcohol and depression. In 2017, she entered the British Celebrity Big Brother and she was the winner.
