Protest rally outside the General Hospital of Kythera «Triphylion», held on Wednesday morning, 01/09, by health workers, protesting against the government's decision to impose a special administrative measure suspension without pay for health professionals who have not received the first or only dose of the infection vaccine COVID-19 caused by the disease SARS-CoV-2.
At the gathering - which had announced the suspended sanitary- were present, as well as their vaccinated colleagues, in solidarity, and a large number of people who stood by their struggle for justice.
As health professionals who came to the meeting said, the issue is the social cohesion as the measure of compulsory vaccination against coronavirus threatens to divide society, with unforeseen consequences. It was even stressed that the virus is now being spread by the vaccinated, who both get sick and transmit it. It is the vaccinated, in fact, who are «responsible» for most of the recent outbreaks, given that, recently, they have been exempted from the strict controls to which the unvaccinated are almost exclusively subjected, according to health officials present at the meeting.
The health workers did not rule out the continuation of the mobilizations through new actions aimed at an update on the medical data on the pandemic worldwide and which justify scepticism and highlight the need for dialogue within the scientific community and society at large.
