Public opinion is in shock after the attack which was accepted by a 26-year-old woman on a beach in Attica. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, June 6, on a crowded beach in Agia Marina Koropiou, in front of many bathers, none of whom rushed to help the woman.

How the 26-year-old escaped
She raised her voice and her husband rushed to help her. The 26-year-old describes the moments of terror she experienced on Sunday afternoon and emphasizes, among other things, that even though the incident took place on a crowded beach, none of those present helped her and her husband. «Time had frozen and I really didn't understand what was going on at all...» he emphasizes, speaking to Mega.
Describing what happened, the 26-year-old says: «I was waiting in the parking lot by the beach for five minutes while my husband went to the convenience store to get some things, and by the time he came back, I had my back turned toward the beach and I heard people shouting, laughing, and basically making fun of me right behind me. I turned around and saw some people filming me with their cell phones, and I wondered why they were filming me.».
She then reports that the men rushed towards her and tore her shirt, broadcasting the attack live. «They responded in a language I don't know and continued to film me. They became enraged when I asked them why they were filming me. All six of them came very close to me and continued to shout and say various things in their own language. So I started shouting back. And because I started shouting, they obviously got angry and tore my shirt, continuing to film me.», he points out.
«You feel helpless»
Visibly shocked and terrified, the 26-year-old points out that «I don't think I've ever felt worse in my entire life. Because you feel helpless in a situation with six people around you, just watching... not knowing what's going to happen next,» while appearing certain that «If my husband hadn't been there, they would obviously have done something else because they were in a violent mood.». According to reports, police officers and members of the DIAS special police unit rushed to the scene of the attack, searched for and located two individuals, both Pakistani nationals, and took them to the local police station. The woman identified the two arrested men as members of the group that attacked her., The authorities found that the perpetrators had not only filmed the attack on the 26-year-old woman, but had also broadcast it live on a website.
It should be noted that The prosecutor brought criminal charges for simple complicity in personal data violation against the two foreigners from Pakistan who were arrested for assaulting the woman.
