A number of artists, including: Boy George, Ricky Gervais, Cory Taylor of Slipknot and Dave Navarro, have been added to the special live streaming charity event to be held to honour the life and career of David Bowie.
The “A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day!” will be broadcast worldwide this Friday (8 January) to mark the 74th birthday of the artist, who died on 10 January 2016. The event is organised by Mike Garson, who was a member of Bowie's band and will help raise money for the Save The Children.
Already declared to participate are: Yungblud, Anna Calvi and Duran Duran, while also expected to appear are: Taylor Momsen, Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters, Chris Sonny of Jane's Addiction and Gary Barlow of Take That.
The following will also make an appearance: Adam Lambert, Andra Day, Michael S. Hall, Ian Hunter, Aticus Ross and many others.
The event will start at 2am UK time (4am GMT) and will be available to ticket holders worldwide for 24 hours after the event starts.
At the same time, it is worth noting that, as announced by Bowie's official page on Twitter, the music of the great artist is now available on TikTok. For the old to remember and the young to learn.
