There is new information regarding the presence of migrants and refugees on the northeastern coast of Kythira. As reported by the *Efimerida ton Syntakton* on Saturday at noon, the Hellenic Observatory for the Helsinki Accords, in an email sent to all relevant authorities, reported that early Saturday morning on the coast of Kythira, 58 Kurds disembarked, 43 of whom are unaccompanied minors, and requested that they be immediately included in the asylum process.
When we contacted the Kythira Police Department, they confirmed that two Coast Guard vessels are operating off the coast and that the police chief is in the area.
