A bear’s encounter with a young woman in her backyard resulted in the animal being driven away from the house. As captured by a security camera, the bear was walking with her two cubs along the concrete wall separating the young woman’s house from the neighboring properties.
When the wild animal came into view of the family’s pets, they attacked it to drive it away. At that point, the bear bared her claws in an attempt to protect her cubs. Next, the 17-year-old intervened, chasing the large animal away, and that was the end of the incident.
As Hailey Morinico told local media: «I really hadn't realized it was a bear until the moment I pushed it. ». I just thought it was an animal and that it wanted to grab my kids.".
However, an expert noted that such a situation is extremely dangerous, and stated that in the event of a similar incident, the residents of the house should remain indoors.
