Avlemonas one of the most famous beaches on the island with its waters creating a natural pool that gives you the feeling of being in the Cyclades. Melidoni with its sandy beach and fine red pebbles, the famous Kaladi, Diakofti, Flat sand, Komponada and many more beaches that will make you love this island.
Before you leave, don't forget to try the local varieties of wine, Tsirigotiko Ladopaximado, the internationally awarded honey of Kythera, the like of which you have never tasted before and all this from the hands of the locals who organize the famous Tsirigotiko festivals. Local dances, traditional feasts and wine festivals in an atmosphere of spiritual devotion where everyone becomes one company. There you will be treated to traditional sweets such as almonds and rosettes and the special “Fatourada” drink.
