A three-day May Day weekend with rain and pleasant temperatures

According to National Observatory of Athens/meteo.gr Clear skies are expected today in most areas, with local cloud cover mainly during midday and afternoon hours, while local and brief showers are likely to occur in parts of Thrace, Chalkidiki, Eastern Thessaly, the Sporades, Euboea, Eastern Central Greece, Central and Southern Peloponnese, and possibly Northern Crete.

Temperature: From 06 to 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia, the low will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN GREECE, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: generally clear.
Winds: Variable and light; from noon onward in the Ionian Sea, northwesterly winds up to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 8 to 22 degrees Celsius. Inland in Epirus, it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.

THESSALIA, EASTERN CENTRAL GREECE, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Generally clear. Local clouds will develop around midday and in the afternoon, and light local showers are possible in the south.

Weather: Cloud cover will temporarily increase in the Kastellorizo area, where local showers are expected.

In the islands of the Eastern Aegean, the Dodecanese, and the Cyclades, there will be scattered clouds. In the rest of the country, there will be some cloud cover that will quickly increase in the west and on Crete, and during midday and afternoon hours in the rest of the mainland, leading to local showers or thunderstorms. In the evening, these conditions will be limited to the northwest.
Winds will blow from the west, central, and north-east to south-east at 3 to 5 Beaufort, and in the remaining areas from northern directions at the same intensity.
