The composition of the Municipal Committee of Kythera. Who were elected

On Tuesday 2 January 2024 in Kythera and in the hall «Mayor Artemios Calligeros» of the Town Hall the election of the members of the Municipal Committee of Kythera took place.

From the faction «Kytheira Antikythira Innova MERA»,

• the candidate ZANTIOTIS PANAGIOTIS received 4 votes
• the candidate KALLIGEROS DIMITRIOS received 6 votes
• the candidate KATSANEVAKIS IOANNIS received 3 votes
• the candidate KOMINOS GEORGE received 5 votes

Therefore, the two (2), seats of the Municipal Commission, entitled to the first combination, as full members,

shall be occupied, in order of the number of preferential votes received, by:

1. KALLIGEROS DIMITRIOS (Full member)

2. KOMINOS GEORGIO (Full member)

Alternate members

Following the above, the candidates, in order, on the basis of the number of crosses and the drawing of lots, are as follows:

1. ZANTIOTIS PANAGIOTIS (Alternate member)

2. KATSANEVAKIS IOANNIS (Alternate member)

From the factions «ALL TOGETHER-KYTHIRA-ANTIKYTHIRA» and «FREE-KYTHIRA»

• the candidate Souris Zacharias received 3 votes
• the candidate MAGOULAS NIKOLAOS received 0 votes
• the candidate GEORGILAS PARASKEYAS received 1 vote
• the candidate PANAGIOTIS MEGALOKONOMOS received 2 votes
• the candidate Sofios Anargios received 1 vote

the candidate MARIATOS ANDREAS received 1 voteSo the two (2) seats of the Municipal Committee, entitled to the minority as full members, occupy,

in order of the number of preferential votes they received, the following shall be elected:

1. Souris Zacharias (Full member)

2. MEGALOKONOMOS PANAGIOTIS (Full member)

Alternate members

Following the above, the candidates, in order, on the basis of the number of crosses and the drawing of lots

was held between the three members who tied with one (1) vote, (GEORGILAS PARASKEYAS, SOFIOS

ANARGIROS and MARIATOS ANDREAS), is as follows:

1. MARIATOS ANDREAS (Alternate member)

2. ANARGIOS SOFIOS (Alternate member)

Therefore, the composition of the Municipal Committee of the Municipality of Kythera for the period 1.1.2024 to 30.06.2026

is as follows:

1. Efstratios Harchalakis - Mayor, President of the Committee
2. Dimitrios Kalligeros,
3. Georgios Kominos,
4. Zacharias Souris,
5. Panayiotis Megalokonomos

The appointment of the Vice-Chairman of the Committee will be made by the members of the City Commission at the first meeting following their election.
