The participation of the Kythira Cultural Center Association in the International Traditional Dance Festival held in Magnesia (Manisa), Turkey, from April 21 to 26.
The audience’s response, the warm applause, and the warm hospitality will remain unforgettable to us. Our participation was an important opportunity to showcase our cultural heritage and Greek traditions abroad.
Special thanks go to dance instructor Dionysis Katsoulis, as well as to all the exceptional dancers who took part in the tour, honoring our homeland with their presence and demeanor.
As part of the mission, we visited the ancient city of Sardis and Smyrna—moments that filled us with emotion and pride in the greatness of our ancestors.
The «journey» has begun and is continuing with great momentum, with the goal of strengthening the cultural identity of our island and encouraging the active participation of young people, as well as everyone who loves Kythira.
