Starting today, Tuesday, September 7, at 11:00 a.m., the online applications for the unemployed for the Second cycle of the OAED program which will enable 4,300 young unemployed people to gain valuable professional experience in digital marketing. The deadline for unemployed individuals to submit their online applications is September 21 at 11:59 p.m.
The internship will last 6 hours a day, 5 days a week for 6 months, and The OAED will pay interns a monthly net stipend of 550 euros (25 euros per day for 22 days of work experience).
This program is aimed at registered unemployed individuals, up to 29 years of age, who have completed digital marketing training program at least 50 hours and in private companies operating in sectors (primary or secondary) economic sectors relevant to digital marketing or that have marketing departments.
The start date for businesses to submit online applications will be announced shortly.
As stated in an announcement by the OAED, companies interested in participating are enrolled in the program based on their workforce as follows:
Businesses with up to 0 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 1
Businesses with 1–3 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 2
Businesses with 4–9 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 3
Businesses with 10–19 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 4
Businesses with up to 20–30 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 6
Businesses with 31–50 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 10
Companies with more than 50 employees – Maximum number of beneficiaries: 25% of the total number of employees.
A prerequisite for membership Employer in the program, is not to have reduced its workforce during the month prior to the date of submission of the application.
The program, with a budget of 16,500,000 euros, is co-funded by Greece and the European Union through the Operational Program «Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014–2020,» with funding from the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI).
